An exciting opportunity is available to join the Queensland Children’s Hospital Diabetes Service as a dietitian (HP4) with qualifications as a credentialled diabetes educator. This is a 0.8FTE fixed-term appointment for until May 2025.

The position of Dietitian Senior Diabetes Educator will:

  • Deliver high level, evidence-based, tertiary dietetic services and diabetes educator services to patients within the dietetics and food service department in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • This position will provide professional leadership and management in the co-ordination and delivery of paediatric dietetic services and diabetes educator services under the direction of the Dietitian – Clinical Leader and actively participate in teaching and training, service development/improvement, supervision and departmental planning.

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead

The Children’s Hospital at Westmead’s Endocrinology Department is seeking Staff Specialists to fill a permanent vacancy of up to 1.8FTE commencing 3 June 2024. Experience working with a tertiary metabolic bone service is required for a portion of the available FTE. Other Endocrinologists are encouraged to apply for the remaining portions of the available FTE.
